Lunar Eclipse

-

Description

Bring some lawn chairs and blankets to sit and watch the total lunar eclipse over Devil’s Lake. A total lunar eclipse takes place when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon and the earth’s shadow covers the Moon. As this happens the moon turns red when the eclipse reaches totality. The naturalist will have a couple of telescopes for eclipse watchers to see the moon up close. This program is for all ages. Meet at the North Shore Boat Launch.
