Have you ever met an owl face to face? What about a hawk or a vulture? Meet some of Wisconsin’s common, but rarely encountered birds. Discover what a raptor is and what brought them to be ambassadors for their species. Join Jerry Theys of Wildlife of Wisconsin (WOW), a Manitowoc non-profit rehabilitator, to learn about the important work of WOW during a PowerPoint presentation and a skit. Three or four live birds will be in attendance. Meet at Sanderling Nature Center for this family-friendly presentation; children must be accompanied by an adult. No pets allowed.
