Starlight Hike

Description

Cold winter air makes the stars twinkle even brighter! Join us for a short hike out into our open areas to stargaze at the wonders of the night. Bring your cameras- phones included!- as this would be a great opportunity to try astrophotography. Many smartphones have astrophotography modes or night settings to take lovely shots of our night sky. Warm clothing, flashlights, and boots are highly encouraged. Tripods or phone holders are also encouraged for photographers- a solid stand makes a clear shot!

This event will be held rain or shine.

Property & Event Location: Scuppernong Springs Nature Trail- Meet across Hwy ZZ from Ottawa Lake Campground- S59W36630 Cty Rd ZZ, Dousman. Moderate hills, 1.5 miles. State Park Sticker Needed.
