First Day Hike - Buckhorn State Park

Description

Meet at the new accessible fire pit by the North picnic shelter to hike around the pond and part of barrens trail. The Friends of Buckhorn will provide hot chocolate, campfire and treats after the hike. Pets on leashes are allowed. If there is enough snow, bring snowshoes or pairs will be available to check out. This trail is level and accessible and about 1 mile. The track chair can be reserved for use on the hike.

This event is weather-dependent. Only extreme (cold) temperatures or unsafe trail conditions would cancel the event.
