First Day Hike - Kettle Moraine State Forest - Pike Lake Unit

Description

Join the DNR staff and members of the Ice Age Trail Alliance to start the new year on a high note! Wear plenty of layers and well treaded boots, as there might be mud or ice on the trails. Choose one of the guided hike options: 0.5 mile loop (boardwalk- easy) 2 mile loop (green trail - moderate) 3 mile loop (orange trail - moderate) Come out to enjoy the crisp winter air, quality time with new friends, and a giant bonfire for a cozy finish.

This event is weather-dependent. Only extreme (cold) temperatures or unsafe trail conditions would cancel the event.
