Volunteer Seed Collection

Description

Help us care for State Natural Areas, some of Wisconsin's most pristine public lands. Waubesa Wetlands State Natural Area is known for its extensive, high-quality wetlands and spring complexes. Volunteers have made fantastic progress clearing invasives and this fall and winter we’re expanding the grasslands through seed collection and prairie planting! On Friday, Dec. 6, from 1 p.m.-4 p.m., weather permitting, we’ll use the collected seed and plant prairie in new parts of the SNA. This will help connect segments of prairie.

This event is weather-dependent.
