Venison Processing with Southwest Technical College (Grant County)

Description

This class will feature a demonstration by an experienced meat science instructor from Southwest Technical College of how to quarter and process a whitetail deer into steaks, roasts, and stew meat. This valuable skill allows hunters to save money in the future by learning this skill. It also allows them to be sure they are eating the deer they harvested--and to package it in the way that is most convenient for their families. 

Location: Southwest Technical College, Building 400 College Connection Center, Room 430.

Registration Deadline: Midnight on Sunday, October 4. Minimum of 5 participants needed to run.
