Walking Stick Creation

Description

Are you joining the Fall Harvest Hike and ready to make your own walking stick? Learn how walking sticks, staffs, and canes were used in the past, then select and personalize a walking stick. We’ll provide sticks, colors, wood burning and shaping tools, beads, and other decorative materials. Great for all ages. Bring a knife for carving if you like. Kids under 12, be sure to bring an adult. Meet at Puckett’s Pond Shelter. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.
