Evening Marsh/Crane Watch
Description
Join educators an hour before sunset at 5:00 p.m. for an informative talk on the birds you see flying overhead. The location of this event will be the back patio of the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center located at N7725 State Road 28, Horicon, WI. Sandhill cranes, Canada geese, great egrets and a variety of ducks are just a few of the amazing migrants that will be flying into the marsh to roost at sunset. Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will also be on hand to answer all your bird migration questions! Soups will be available for free, but donations will be accepted for the Friends of Horicon Marsh and Horicon Marsh Bird Club. All programs are free and open to the public. Bring a chair and binoculars if you have them as we enjoy a fall evening at the marsh! No registration required. For more information, please call the event contact at the information below.
