Jersey Flats Prairie Restoration

Description

Meet at the Horse Trail parking lot off County Road SS between New Prospect and County Road G. Target: encroaching trees and shrubs.

There will only be a limited number of long-handled pruners and saws, so if you have either, please bring them. Wear long pants, long sleeves, gloves and hat, tuck your pants into your socks, and bring insect repellent. Also, bring drinking water. Some spots on the trail may be wet, so waterproof boots would be helpful.
