Description
Journalers are encouraged to spend time documenting what they observe. Basic supplies of a simple journal, colored pencils, watercolor paint and paper will be available. Participants are welcome to bring their own journal and supplies if they wish.
This event will be held rain or shine.

Property & Event Location: Kettle Moraine State Forest - Southern Unit:
- Thursday, Sept. 10 - Paradise Springs Nature Trail, W374S8640 County Rd N, Eagle 53119. We will be looking for signs of summer fading into fall. Paved trail about ½ mile long. Vault toilets available.
- Thursday, Oct. 15 - Bald Bluff Trail, east side of Hwy H, just north of intersection with Young Road. No bathroom available. We will hike a total of one mile, half up hill to Bald Bluff, and is a rough, gravel trail to watch for migrating hawks and enjoy fall colors. Mileage counts towards the Ice Age Trail’s Mammoth Hike Challenge.
- Thursday, Nov. 12 - DJ Mackie Picnic Area, S57W35510 County Rd ZZ, Dousman, 53118 – We will try to spend most of the time outdoors and may access the Scuppernong Hiking Trails.
