Basic Learn to Cook Venison (Sauk County)

This class is a hands-on basic introduction to cooking venison taught by wild game chef and Pheasants Forever's R3 and Outreach Coordinator John Motoviloff. You will be taking a piece of venison from a rough chunk of meat to a trimmed and juicy steak as well as learning techniques for successfully cooking other cuts of venison. Remember to dress in old clothes or to bring an apron as everyone will have the chance to cook. Class will conclude with a reflecting on what we learned while we enjoy some fresh-cooked venison steak! 

To register, go to Go Wild and log in or create an account if you don't already have one. Click on the Manage Safety Education tab, click "Search for Class, and select "Learn to Hunt" as Course Type and "Sauk" as County in the drop-down tabs. Register with your Customer ID number. If the class is not appearing, then it may be full. Please contact John to join a waitlist.
