Rocks of Lake Michigan

Come find out all about the rocks found here at Kohler-Andrae. Where did they come from? What are they made of? How can you identify them? This presentation will encourage you to appreciate Nature’s beautiful rocks and get involved in rock-collecting or rock polishing. Best for ages 10 and up. Meet in the Sanderling Nature Center auditorium. Accessible bathrooms and a water bottle filler are available inside the nature center which is open 12:30-4:30 p.m. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.
