Woodland Walk
Description
Hike the Woodland Dunes Trail with Master Naturalist Karen Merlau and learn about the different types of trees, how to identify them, how they grow and how to tell their age. This is a great hike for the family; children must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend bringing insect repellent, a bottle of water and wearing comfortable shoes for an hour-long hike. Meet at the Woodland Dunes Trailhead near the playground and parking lot P8. Vault toilets and a water fountain are between the parking lot and playground. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.
This event is weather-dependent.
