Learn To Fish! Clinic & Drop-In

Description

Are you ready to reel in the big one? Join Park Staff & R3 Angler Educator at the boat launch to get started on your fishing journey! From 9 to 10 a.m., join a group session to learn the basics of fishing equipment, how to set up a simple bobber rig, fundamental knot tying, and casting tips and tricks. From 10 a.m. to noon, we'll open up the use of all fishing equipment to anyone who'd like to drop in and drop a line. At this time, we'll also have games, activities, and information set up for folks of all ages to find out more about fishing and finned critters of Wisconsin. 

Please note: Participants ages 16 or older do need a Wisconsin Fishing License to participate in the actual fishing component of the clinic, but no license is needed to attend the educational program and activities. 

This event will be held rain or shine.
