Join the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for their second annual Shooting Range Safety Day!

What to Expect:

  • Staff available to talk about firearm safety and range etiquette.
  • Staff available to talk about hunting safety and educational classes.
  • Hands-on shooting opportunities.
  • Try different firearms, suppressors and ammunition.
  • Muzzleloader demonstrations and trials.
  • Learn about hunting opportunities and Wisconsin's R3 programs.
  • Shooting challenges and prize drawings.

We encourage attendees, hunters and recreational shooters to safely bring your personal rifles to this event to participate in challenges for a chance to be put in for random prize drawings and discover new ammunition options. Please come with questions about safety in the field, hearing conservation and firearm suppression. If you don’t own a rifle, that’s no problem! The DNR is partnering alongside Ares Armament of Oshkosh to introduce inexperienced shooters and youth to shooting and hunting sports.

Muzzleloaders

Are you curious about purchasing or hunting with a muzzleloader to extend your deer season opportunities? We will be showcasing muzzleloader basics and allowing participants the chance to shoot muzzleloaders to gain firsthand knowledge and experience.

We hope to see you there – Hunt Safe, Wisconsin!
