Description

See Brownstone Falls, Copper Falls, and Tyler Forks Cascades from the accessible portion of the Doughboys' Trail! Identify birds and plants as we are able. This is 1/2 mile at a casual pace. Bring drinking water. Vault toilets are available at the handicapped parking lot (the event meeting location), but are not handicapped accessible. Handicapped-accessible facilities are at the shower building in the South Campground, and at the large concessions building near the trailhead of the Doughboys' Trail. Led by Park Ranger, Juniper. Property & Event Location: 36764 Copper Falls Rd, Mellen, WI 54546 Meet at the Handicapped Parking Lot.
Directions: Drive into the park about 2 miles, turn right at the "service road only" and "handicapped access only" signs. That paved road becomes a gravel road. The handicapped parking is at the end of that road.
