Mushroom Walk

Description

Join the UW-La Crosse Mycology club for a mushroom walk along the Hemlock Trail! Search for and identify mushrooms along this beautiful trail tucked into a State Natural Area. Be prepared for a 1.3 mile hike traveling along sandstone cliffs with steep switchbacks up to Mount Pisgah. Meet at the lower picnic area at the Hemlock Trail trailhead. Comfortable hiking shoes, water, and bug spray is recommended. No dogs are allowed on this trail.
