Description
Summer Adventure Days Celebrate summer and enjoy adventure, recreation and relaxation at Havenwoods State Forest. Join us for free daytime and evening programs throughout the weekend. Please dress for the weather (i.e., sun protection, bug spray, hats, raincoats, footwear, etc.). Programs may be canceled due to inclement weather. Meet at the Nature Center.
Summer Adventure Days Schedule -
Friday: All day Crafts (11-7 p.m.) - Fun with Beads, Animal Spotting Activity, Field Games & Scavenger Hunt. Guided Hike (1 p.m.), Nature Films (3 and 5 p.m.), Learn to Camp & Campfire S’mores (5-7 p.m.).
Saturday: All day Crafts (10-4 p.m.) - Fun with Beads, Animal Spotting Activity, Field Games, Scavenger Hunt and self-guided 5/k Run/Walk. Guided Hike(10 a.m.), Nature Short Films (11 a.m. and 2 p.m.), Outdoor Yoga(noon), Animal Feeding (1-2 p.m.).
Sunday: All day Crafts (11-7p.m.) Cyanotypes, Animal Spotting Activity, Field Games & Scavenger Hunt, Guided Bike Ride (Noon), Storytime with Animals (1-2 p.m.), Evening Guided Hike (5 p.m.), Campfire & S’mores (5-7 p.m.).
