York Prairie Invasive Weed Pulling Workday
Description
Join York Prairie volunteers during Invasive Species Awareness Weekend to remove invasive herbaceous weeds from a beautiful prairie remnant State Natural Area near New Glarus, WI. No experience necessary. Long pants and sleeves recommended as well as sun hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent. We will pulling herbaceous weeds by hand and using simple tools such as loppers and small shovels. Tools and gloves will be provided. There is free roadside parking, and there are no bathroom facilities on-site.
