Invasive Species Identification and Reporting

Description

Timberland Invasives Partnership (TIP) and Waterways Association of Menominee and Shawano Counties (WAMSCO) will be presenting on the common invasive species present in Shawano County and learn to identify them. Attendees will also be educated about techniques of reporting invasive species to various resources, like EDDMaps. The group will then have the opportunity to walk the trails to identify invasive species and practice proper reporting. Attendees should wear closed toe shoes; bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Attendees are encouraged to make sure they have their phone with them. To prepare even more, attendees can download EDDMaps before arriving (not required).
