Bug Hunt
Description
Explore the hidden world of bugs during this family friendly outing and learn about the insects that call Wisconsin “home”. We’ll look for pollinators, predators, camouflaged specialists, and all the tiny creatures that make the world buzz with life. This program focuses on observing insects where they live and safely catching and releasing them. This event is free to attend for participants of all ages. Outdoor events are weather dependent. We suggest bringing water, sunscreen, a hat and bug spray. Dress for the weather. Meet at Friends Pond. To reach Friends Pond, walk or bike along Old Park Road from the campground or drive out of the park and around the block to the Friends Pond parking lot. A vault toilet is available at this location. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.
This event is weather-dependent.
