The Mustard Menace and Other Invaders

-

Description

No, garlic mustard is not the flavorful condiment you add to brats and burgers. It is an introduced species that threatens the livelihood of local flora, choking out diverse woodland plants. Meet our naturalist at the Park Office for a mile-long guided walk and hands-on garlic mustard pull. We will learn to recognize common plant invaders, hear about their impact, and find out more about removal. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes to help pull plants at the end of the walk. No experience necessary, and all materials provided!

This event will be held rain or shine.
