Nature Storytime: What Can You Grow in Your Pot?

Description

Each child can decorate a container with items from nature! Then we will plant a seed and take them home to watch them grow! Will you plant a sunflower? Or a potato? Or a morning glory?  Finally, we will take a hike and compare garden flowers with wetland plants.  Meet in the Ice Age Center classroom at 10 a.m. Nature Storytime is led by volunteer Kathy Scharfenberg and includes a short story, a small healthy snack, and fun activities. Recommended for children ages 3-5. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress appropriately for the weather, as some activities might be outside. 

This event will be held rain or shine.
