Free Kids Fishing Event

Join us for an afternoon of fishing, fun, and outdoor adventure at the beautiful Gov. Thompson State Fish Hatchery on Saturday, June 6 from 1 – 3 p.m.!

Kids of all ages are invited to cast a line and make memories on the water. Whether your child is a first-time angler or already loves fishing, hatchery staff and FISH friends group members will be on hand to help with baiting hooks, casting lines, and sharing fishing tips. 

Fishing poles and bait provided along with pontoon rides on the scenic Yellow River Flowage. 

This will be a family friendly outdoor fun for all ages, rain or shine. Come experience the excitement of fishing, explore the hatchery grounds and enjoy a great day outdoors with family and friends.
