Waterfowl Wednesday - Intro to Waterfowl Retrievers

Cost: Free! Vehicle admission waivers for Richard Bong Recreation Area will be provided free of charge (up to 20). Free Waterfowl Expo tickets will be provided to everyone in attendance.

Class Limit: 15

Where: Richard Bong State Recreation Area 26313 Burlington Rd, Kansasville, WI 53139. We will meet at the far west end, near Sunset Campground.

Learn the basics to train your waterfowl retriever!

We will cover basic obedience, simple marks and basic blind drills. We will have basic set ups to show both hunting scenario set ups, as well as training drills. We will have several dogs to demonstrate, but feel free to bring your retriever! Only well-behaved dogs will be allowed. Any dogs who show any aggression will be asked to leave.

To register, go to Go Wild and log in or create an account if you don't already have one. Click on the Manage Safety Education tab, click "Search for Class, and select "Learn to Hunt" as Course Type and "Kenosha" as County in the drop-down tabs. Register with your Customer ID number.
