Falconry: An Extreme Form of Bird Watching

Description

Falconry is an ancient sport and art of hunting wild game in its natural habitat using a trained bird of prey. Come and learn about falconry (trapping techniques, training, hunting and release of birds) and meet Quill, a red-tailed hawk. This program is best for children 7 and up, but all are welcome to attend. Meet at the Rock Elm Shelter (North Shore).

This event will be held rain or shine.
