Indigenous History at Potawatomi

-

Description

Join us on Memorial Day to learn about the history of Potawatomi State Park. Too often American history lessons start in 1492. Instead, starting in the ice age, we will look back at the successive cultures that called this land home. Drawing on recent historical investigations commissioned by the DNR, this will be a drop-in program at the Amphitheater (Park Office in case of rain). This event is free to attend, but vehicle admission into the park is required.

This event will be held rain or shine.
