Invasive Species Awareness Day-Invasive Pull

-

Description

Come get your hands dirty for a good cause! Join the Park Naturalist and local Invasive Species Coordinator to learn about the negative impacts of local terrestrial invaders. After a short educational session, we’ll head out for a hands-on, invasive species removal project. This event is open to everyone, but please be prepared for off-trail hiking, rugged terrain, and tall grass. Be sure to wear protective clothing (tick safety first!), bring water, bug spray, and sunscreen.

This event will be held rain or shine.
