Invasive Species Workday

-

Description

This workday will start by learning about invasive garlic mustard, why it's a problem and how to identify it. Then we will split up into groups throughout the park and trails to eradicate garlic mustard patches by plucking plants and bagging them. Please wear sturdy shoes as some work may be on rocky terrain, bring garden or work gloves, water, and tick repellent. Some hiking will be required. Volunteers will be given a complimentary daily park pass.

This event is weather-dependent.
