Wildflowers & Wild Trees Walk

-

Description

Give your mom flowers on Mother’s Day. Join Phyllis, the park naturalist, to search for blooming wildflowers and trees while learning about Wisconsin’s many native pollinators. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No pets please. We suggest dressing in layers, as it can be cooler near Lake Michigan. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for this walk on grassy and wood-chipped trails.

Meet at the Black River Trail parking lot. Please note there are no bathrooms or water available here. The nearest facilities are found at the Park Office. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival. The Park Office is about one mile from the Black River Trail parking lot.

This event is weather-dependent.
