OutWiGo! The Trails of Newport Challenge Hikes

Description

Challenge Hikes are back! As part of the OutWiGo statewide initiative to get outside with healthy activities, we’re taking to the trails, and not going to stop until we do them all! Join the park naturalist on this weekly hike. We’ll log hours and miles for 13 weeks, starting with the shortest trail (1.2-mile) and end with the longest trail (7 mile). On the last day, we’ll tally our miles and enjoy a potluck picnic together. All are welcome to enjoy one or more of the hikes and are encouraged to hike at your own pace. This week’s hike will be Fern Trail, an easy 1.2-mile hike. Meet at Lot 3.

This event will be held rain or shine.
