Work*Play*Earth Day

-

Description

The park is once again partnering with the Friends of Hartman Creek State Park to hold a Work*Play*Earth Day Event to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day.  The event will be held April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  The Friends will provide water and snacks.  The park has a limited supply of shovels, so please bring your own if you are able to, as well as work gloves.  Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we'll need sunscreen as well. If it does not, please bring a raincoat. The project this year will be planting trees and bushes around the new shower building and nearby campsites to replace some of the trees and privacy that was lost during the project.  Any excess trees will be planted throughout the campground. No experience necessary!

This event will be held rain or shine.

Group/Program Hosting: Park Staff and Friends of Hartman Creek State Park
Event Location: Hartman Creek State Park, N2480 Hartman Creek Rd, Waupaca, WI 54981. Please meet in the Office Parking Lot by 10 a.m.  We will then move into the campground.
