Learn to Hunt Turkey with Pishtaka Wildlife Society

Cost: Free

Preference given to ages 16 and under. Hunter safety certification not required to participate.

Participants will learn basic turkey biology and management, ethics and fair chase. Participants will learn safe firearm handling techniques and the basics of turkey hunting. Participants will shoot and pattern shotguns before going into the field. Students will be paired up one-on-one with a mentor and go hunting on the hunt dates.
