Learn to Hunt Turkey with Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (Vernon County)

Hunter safety required. Program open to all ages. 

Please join the Wisconsin Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers for our third annual "Learn to Turkey Hunt" at the beautiful Kickapoo Valley Reserve! 

The morning class will include a talk about turkey biology and habitat, hunting techniques and calling demonstrations, firearm safety and training on the range. Saturday afternoon, mentee and mentor pairs will head out to scout the hunt area, followed by a Sunday morning hunt. A campsite has been reserved for Friday and Saturday nights. Burgers and brats will be available Saturday night. 

To register, go to Go Wild and log in or create an account if you don't already have one. Click on the Manage Safety Education tab, click "Search for Class, and select "Learn to Hunt" as Course Type and "Vernon" as County in the drop-down tabs. Register with your Customer ID number.
