(W)rites of Spring-With Symphony Swan (CR8TV HOUSE)

Description

“As the land transitions out of winter into bloom, communicate at the speed of a flower’s unfurling”. Come take part in this letter-writing and postcard workshop around the spring equinox with Symphony Swan Zawadi, artist and founder of THE CR8TV HOUSE and guest artist Mia Rimmer, a Milwaukee-based multidisciplinary artist. The duration of (W)rites of Spring will incorporate long-form writing, found object collage making from the forest, feature artwork from THE CR8TV HOUSE pen pal project and be accompanied by a soundbath, commissioned from memory worker and sonic griot Harlem Masimba. This workshop is in collaboration with the UW-Milwaukee Center for 21st Century Studies and Story Cart.
