Learn to Hunt Turkey with Lake Noquebay Sportsman's Club (Oconto County)

Join us for Learn to Hunt Turkey, a hands-on introduction to spring turkey hunting sponsored by Lake Noquebay Sportsman's Club, High Falls Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the WI DNR. The instruction day will cover everything you need to get started, including firearm safety, wild turkey history and biology, hunting rules and regulations and equipment basics. Participants will practice turkey calls and head outdoors to pattern shotguns and experience realistic field hunting scenarios.

Each participant will be paired with an experienced mentor and receive guidance on scouting, hunting expectations and season planning. After the instruction day, you’ll be paired with your mentor to find a time to hunt anytime during the regular spring turkey season.
