Learn the basics of turkey hunting in a hands-on, beginner-friendly program. Participants will learn about wild turkey behavior, calling techniques, safety, scouting, and hunting strategies. Experienced mentors will guide participants through lessons and field activities. Participants will also practice shotgun patterning and learn how to prepare for a successful hunt. The program concludes with a mentored spring turkey hunt, giving participants real-world experience and confidence to continue turkey hunting on their own.

Instruction Day: March 28, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Bridgeport Fire Station, 63176 Vineyard Road, Prairie du Chien 53821.

Hunt Date: March 29, 5 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Meet at Bridgeport Fire Station then leave for hunting lands.
