Cabin Fever Series: Walk on the Wild Side
Description
Join Master Naturalist Garth Ewing for a walk on the beach or dunes to look for signs of winter wildlife. Start with an indoor introduction; then, depending on conditions, head out on the trails for 10-30 minutes. You’ll have time to check out the animal skins indoors, too. This event is recommended for all ages. Please leave pets at home. Consider bringing a hat, scarf, neck gator, warm hiking boots, sunglasses and ice cleats.
Meet at Sanderling Nature Center, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bathrooms and a water fountain are available inside. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival. *No experience necessary.
This event will be held rain or shine.
