Cabin Fever Series: Snowflakes & Snow Science Drop-in

Let’s explore the wonders of this snowy time of year! Is there a best recipe for snow? How do temperature, moisture, dust and time impact snow? Big or small, each snowflake is unique. Who was Snowflake Bentley and what did he learn? Master Naturalist Felicia Hennessy will be on hand for two hours so you can stop in for a short visit to discover the science of snow and snowflakes. Please dress appropriately for the weather, as some activities might take you outside. This event is recommended for all abilities and ages. Please leave pets at home. 

Meet at Sanderling Nature Center, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bathrooms and a water fountain are available inside. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival. *No experience necessary.
