Cabin Fever Series: Talking Turkey

-

Description

Join Master Naturalist Kim Drost to learn all about wild turkeys – hens, toms and jakes. Wild turkeys have lived in North America for at least five million years. What do they eat? Where do they sleep? Do they all have beards? We’ll be going in-depth to discover more about the real lives of wild turkeys. Come with curiosity and leave with a greater understanding of these unique birds. This program is intended for families with children 12 and under. Please dress appropriately for the weather, as some activities might be outside.

Meet at the Sanderling Nature Center, parking lot P3. The nature center will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
