First Day Hike at Interstate Park

Join Naturalist Maia Lieske on a mile-long winter hike along the Ojibwa Trail. As a group, hike through pine and hardwood forest. A warming fire will be behind the Ice Age Interpretive Center. Snacks and refreshments provided by the Friends of Interstate and Straight Lake State Parks will be available within the Ice Age Interpretive Center. Be sure to dress for cold weather, including hats, gloves, and warm jackets. Visitors are welcome to bring snowshoes if there is enough snow. Pets are welcome on the hike but must be under control and on a physical leash no longer than 8 feet at all times. Pets are not allowed within the Ice Age Interpretive Center. Valid vehicle admission is required for this event. Vehicle admission passes can be purchased at the park office or in advance online at YourPassNow.com

The event may be canceled due to inclement weather.
