Candlelight Hike
-
Description
The candlelight hike explores the magic of the season! First up, at 6 p.m., learn about Wisconsin's wolves with retired DNR wolf biologist and guest expert Adrian Wydeven. Dancing witches are invited to the culmination of his program around 6:30 p.m. (or come early at 5:30 p.m. to learn and join a flash mob training). Hike the 1-mile-long loop lit by candlelight at Copper Falls State Park.
Listen for night sounds of loons and owls or seek out a glowing jack-o'-lantern mushroom along the trail.
Programs are free and open to the public, but a vehicle admission pass is required. Night visibility protocols are encouraged (red lights only).
