Batty About Bats!
Description
Join Wisconsin Bat Ambassador Caroline Frantz at Pike Lake Unit for a bat-tastic adventure into the world of bats! “Batty About Bats!” is an exciting, hands-on educational program designed especially for kids. Through stories, crafts and interactive activities, children will discover the amazing lives of Wisconsin bats and why bats play an important role in our environment.
Kids will learn about the bats that call Wisconsin home, explore how echolocation works and even create their own bat crafts to take home. Caroline will bust myths, share cool bat facts and talk about how we can all help protect these nighttime heroes.
This program is perfect for school-aged children and their families. It’s a great way to explore nature, learn something new and have a whole lot of fun on the shores of beautiful Pike Lake!
