Night Hike

Description

Night creatures come out to play with the setting of the sun! Bats flutter in the dusk air, and coyotes call to the stars. Come and join us for a hike to find these friends and see the forest in a new light.

Meet at the Bluewater Bay shelter building at 6:30 p.m. The hike will combine a couple of easy trails to make the trip about 1 mile. There will be a break at the halfway mark to look for bats at the beach.

We recommend bringing a flashlight or headlamp, walking shoes and dressing for the cool nighttime weather. This event is free to attend, but a vehicle admission sticker is required.
