Evening Marsh/Crane Watch

-

Description

Join educators an hour before sunset at 5 p.m. for an informative talk on the birds you see flying overhead.

The location of this event will be the picnic shelter at the Palmatory Street Overlook.  Address is 1210 North Palmatory Street, Horicon, WI.

Sandhill cranes, Canada geese, great egrets and a variety of ducks are just a few of the amazing migrants flying into the marsh to roost at sunset.

Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will also be on hand to answer all your bird migration questions!

All programs are free and open to the public. Bring a chair and binoculars if you have them, as we enjoy a fall evening at the marsh! No registration required.
