Learn to Hunt Pheasants with The Friends of Poynette Game Farm

Join The Friends of Poynette Game Farm for their Fall 2025 Learn to Hunt Pheasant Workshop! This workshop and hunt will introduce participants to skills necessary to be successful pheasant hunting, such as dog handling, gun safety, conservation and game management, culminating in a one-on-one mentored hunt held on Dec. 6.

• Saturday, Dec. 6: Meet at Pine Island Wildlife Area
  • 8 a.m. - noon: Class instruction
  • Noon - 5 p.m.: Pheasant hunt and a cleaning demonstration
