Learn to Hunt Deer on Public Land - Waukesha County
Description
Students (adults only) will learn how to hunt deer on public land in Waukesha County using a firearm, while paired with an experienced mentor.
Students must possess a hunter safety certificate and a valid deer hunting license. Please contact Alec Bekkers or DNR Customer Service for assistance enrolling in Hunter Safety or purchasing your deer hunting license.
Students must attend ALL class sessions in order to participate in the hunt.
Cost: $40 per student. Camping & food provided during hunt weekend.
Registration is required. To register: Go to Go Wild and log in or create an account if you don't already have one. Click on the Manage Safety Education tab, click "Search for Class," and select "Learn to Hunt" as Course Type and "Waukesha" as County in the drop-down tabs. Register with your Customer ID number.

- Hunting: Friday, Oct. 10 (meet at camp in the evening) - Sunday, Oct. 12, noon
