Party in the Prairie: Seed Collection

Description

Are you excited about prairie restoration? Join us for a morning collecting seeds in the MacKenzie Center prairies! 

Learn to identify and collect from a wildlife biologist. Then, wade out into the prairie and practice your collection techniques. 

All seeds collected will be used to restore native habitat in the Columbia County region, including at the MacKenzie Center. Please prepare for the weather and wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. All collection materials will be provided. 

A naturalist will meet you at the Lodge Parking Lot.
