Insect Safari And Monarch Tagging

-

Description

As summer winds down along the Lake Michigan shore, pollinators and other bugs swoop and swarm. Join naturalist Phyllis McKenzie to search for pollinators, Monarchs and other insects in the park. If we find them, we’ll tag some Monarch butterflies, too.

For this 90-minute safari, plan to bring along bug repellent, sunblock and a bottle of water. We’ll meet at the Old Gate near the campground and chart a course from there. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet Phyllis at the Old Gate near the entrance to the campground west of parking lot P4.
